Flex Framework Improvements
A new and enhanced flexConnector framework has been introduced, offering significantly improved robustness and a richer feature set compared to the previous version. This framework is available alongside the existing one and requires activation in PDKs for custom connectors to take effect.

At DesignCon 2024, the Best Paper Award went to “System design methodology, simulation and silicon validation of a 224Gbps Serial Link” by the 草榴社区 team, representing the IPG Design and Lab teams from Ottawa and Mississauga, Canada.

草榴社区 collaborated with Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI), to deliver two successful training courses in January and February, with over 40 participants in attendance. The 草榴社区 Photonic 草榴社区 team introduced 草榴社区 Photonic Device Compiler, 草榴社区 OptSim, and 草榴社区 OptoCompiler, equipping attendees with industry-leading tools for photonic design.
