Seeing a self-driving car navigate through streets without a driver hardly triggers a double take, especially in tech-rich regions. Neither does the experience of watching ChatGPT promptly write a story based on your one-sentence request. Each time we wake up our world is smarter, and silicon chips and software are at the heart of it all. To stay on top of the electronic industry’s latest technologies and trends, there’s no better opportunity than attending this month’s , the largest technical conference of electronic design automation (EDA) users.

Back in person after going virtual last year, SNUG Silicon Valley takes place March 29 to 30 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The conference promises to offer a rich two days of ideas, insight, and inspiration.

Want to understand why multi-die systems are proving to be the biggest disruption in computing? Or how AI is driving the next innovation wave for EDA? Or whether the semiconductor ecosystem is ready to support EDA workflows in the cloud?

While these are tough challenges to address, they’re not insurmountable thanks to engineering ingenuity. Applications like high-performance computing and AI are driving the need for new chip architectures, like multi-die systems. EDA flows, in turn, are adapting to provide what’s needed to drive the next wave of semiconductor innovation, including faster integration of heterogenous dies. In fact, as AI demands more of chips, AI is also increasingly being integrated into chip development flows, enabling enhanced engineering productivity and better silicon outcomes.

At SNUG Silicon Valley, you’ll learn more about advancements in AI and machine learning, automotive, design and verification in the cloud, multi-die systems, IP, virtual prototyping, and much more. The two-day event features peer-reviewed technical presentations by 草榴社区 users across 15 technical tracks, networking opportunities, tutorials, panel discussions, an awards ceremony, and these keynote speakers

  • 9:15a.m. Wednesday, March 29: Dr. Aart de Geus, chair and CEO of 草榴社区
  • 9:15a.m. Thursday, March 30: Fran?ois Piedno?l, distinguished mSoC chief architect, Mercedes-Benz

In addition, at 4p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, Rob Aitken, a 草榴社区 distinguished architect, will host an interview with Sassine Ghazi, president and COO of 草榴社区. And at 4p.m. on Thursday, March 30, Alessandra Costa, senior vice president of the 草榴社区 Customer Success Group, and Savita Banerjee, DFT manager at Meta and SNUG Technical Committee chair, will present a talk on “Branding Yourself for Technical Career Growth: Strategies and Best Practices.”

The conference is open to registered 草榴社区 users at no charge. This year, the 草榴社区 Academic & Research Alliances (SARA) has extended the invitation to register to professors, Ph.D. candidates, and post-doctoral researchers, with all registrations subject to review and approval. All told, the event promises to be enriching and engaging for everyone on hand.

Register today to reserve your spot for SNUG Silicon Valley. Also, be sure to check out our SNUG events around the world.
