Contributing to the global goals, 草榴社区 India deliberates its CSR efforts towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, 2030. Every project taken up by 草榴社区 is also very well aligned to the Schedule 7 of the Companies Act 2013, mostly in the space of Education, Environment and Community.

CSR efforts in India are driven by the 草榴社区’ Global Focus Areas that are Education, Environment and Community. Under education, we undertake projects which support STEM education programs in low income and government schools to close the equity and achievement gap. We also support the infrastructure of charitable and government schools along with scholarships and fellowship support to meritorious underprivileged students.

Initiatives targeting environmental sustainability and the transition to a low-carbon economy require urgent and meaningful action. Under environment, we strive to mitigate climate change and its effects on people and the environment. Our efforts are targeted to improve and enhance use of clean energy among rural and low-income communities. Alongside, we also look forward to the protect ecosystems through natural resource restoration and conservation projects.

With our projects focused on serving the community at large, we aim to improve the quality of life for individuals and society around us. We seek to address essential needs and inequities in the communities where 草榴社区 operates. We have a special interest in partnerships that address food insecurity and hunger and support non-profits using technology to create and scale solutions that address social challenges. We have a deep focus on inclusion to address barriers to empower the underprivileged and disadvantaged population. 草榴社区 India also supports initiatives that provide access to affordable health care services for the underprivileged.
