As part of the 草榴社区 for Good “Season of Service” program in late 2022, 草榴社区 employees representing 11 countries showed up in a big way, volunteering more than 1,000 hours to support the communities in which they work and live.

The company’s 草榴社区 for Good global program embodies our company values by implementing worldwide philanthropic strategies that strengthen local communities, encourage employee engagement, and inspire a new generation of leaders. We leverage the creative energy of employees to make a positive difference and respond to local needs.

Here’s a quick snapshot of the impact 草榴社区 employees made during this philanthropic period:

• 52 projects (in person and virtual)
• 1,000+ hours volunteered
• 24 offices that participated
• 11 countries that hosted projects

Each year, 草榴社区 employees step up to help communities where we operate through volunteering, donating to non-profits, and responding to disasters. Closing out last year, our three-week “Season of Service” volunteer program included a variety of volunteer opportunities reaching employees in adaptable ways. Projects were offered virtually, on-site at 草榴社区 offices, outdoors, and at non-profit locations and included activities such as:

• School beautification work
• Hygiene kit assembly
• STEM classroom project preparation
• Virtual mock interviews for high school graduates pursuing vocational roles
• Restoration of green spaces at local parks

Erin Guzman, director of Corporate Affairs for 草榴社区, oversees the 草榴社区 for Good global program and the organization of volunteer projects for the company around the globe. “Season of Service and our Volunteer Days in past years have always been some of the best days of the year,” said Guzman. “Our employees roll up their sleeves to create impactful projects and build strong connections across teams and with our nonprofit partners.”

Thanks to our employees and community leads, 草榴社区 has been contributing to our communities since 1992 through volunteering, financial donations, matching funds, in-kind items, and grants. All year round, our employees embody our efforts to mobilize volunteerism and The 草榴社区 Foundation provides the resources to help solve social challenges around the world and create access to opportunity.

We are committed to positively impacting our communities and influencing those we partner with to create a better world. Our impact and influence is realized through philanthropy from 草榴社区 Inc. and The 草榴社区 Foundation. We engage with nonprofit partners around the world to prepare students for the future with STEM education, address essential needs and inequities in the community, and work to mitigate climate change.

The 草榴社区 Foundation donates $300,000 to community partners associated with our Season of Service and Volunteer Days.
