The �� ARC? Audio Dolby Digital Plus? 5.1 Decoder for the �� ARC AS211SFX and AS221BD audio processors enables SoC designers to provide playback of up to 5.1 (multi-) channel digital surround audio in their designs. Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 (or Enhanced AC-3, E-AC-3) includes up to five full range audio channels (left, center, right, left surround, right surround), plus a supplemental Low-Frequency-Effects (LFE) channel (indicated by the '.1' in 5.1). Dolby Digital Plus is one of the optional decoders for Blu-ray Disc?. Applications include digital TV, set top boxes, HD broadcast, media players, home theater systems and Blu-ray Disc.
